Key features of the Time-Weighted Average Price (TWAP) function include: 1.Reducing Market Impact: The TWAP strategy breaks down large orders over time. By spreading out the execution of large orders over an extended period, it minimizes the direct influence of large trades on market prices, thus maintaining market stability. 2.Conceal Trading Intentions: Using TWAP, large trades are spread out, allowing users to discreetly execute without revealing their overarching intentions. 3.Adapt to Market Volatility: TWAP spreads trades over time, reducing risks in fluctuating markets and ensuring a more stable trading approach. This allows users to handle price fluctuations without the risks of sharp price changes, providing a stable response to market volatility. 4.Improved Efficiency: Executing large trades all at once can lead to high transaction costs.
