[//]:content-type-MARKDOWN-DONOT-DELETE Gate Charity, the global non-profit philanthropy organization founded by Gate.io, visited a kindergarten school run by a non-profit child welfare organization in Japan and is soon launching a new charitable NFT collection to raise funds for charity.   During the visit on August 4th, Gate Charity volunteers organized a creative session for thirty preschool children, guiding them to express their creativity and celebrate Japanese culture through painting. The children were later presented with small gifts from Gate Charity to enhance their learning environments.   Subsequently, each piece of artwork created by the children will be minted onto the blockchain as non-fungible tokens (NFTs), which will then be sold on Gate NFT, the NFT launchpad and the marketplace on Gate.io. All funds generated through sales of the collection will go toward supporting charity.  This marks another charitable initiative organized by Gate Charity with the support of Gate NFT. Past initiatives in the country include charitable collections to generate funding for animal and child welfare and an educational initiative to provide English lessons to underprivileged children aged 4 to 5.   Gate Charity will continue to use its model of fundraising that combines digital ownership with unique, handmade NFT works, enabling donors to receive a meaningful “token” of appreciation for supporting philanthropic initiatives.
