Gate.io has been providing zero withdrawal fees for USDT withdrawals via Tron Networks for years, becoming the only exchange that provides zero withdrawal fee for a long period of time in the industry. Our effort has saved users a large amount of withdrawal fees and provided great convenience and flexibility in withdrawing USDT, making small withdrawals simple and economically feasible.
However, as the USDT transfers demands surges along with our quickly increased user base, it becomes difficult for us to subsidize the USDT withdrawals to zero fee. We are going to adjust the fee upwards and charge 1 USDT per transfer for USDT withdrawal via Tron Network instead. Though not zero any longer, the withdrawal fee will still be much lower than that on other chains, like Ethereum. In the future, we will continue with our effort to seek solutions to providing free withdrawal services.
