You can now start to use the upgraded service to fund your margin trading. Though this upgrade was aimed to upgrade borrowing for all users, those with low margin level on their Marin account were not included as the upgrade introduces a new interest rate mechanism which might have potential to increase liquidation risks. Users who have not been upgraded can now upgrade manually after raising the margin level to 115% or above by posting additional margin , or repaying outstanding loan. With the upgrade, the interest rate mechanism changes to the hourly dynamic interest rate determined by demand and supply power instead of an individual lender.
