By simply inviting market makers from other exchanges to join Gate.io, referrers can earn up to 3,300 USDT cash rewards. **Eligibility:** 1.Referrers: Retail users, KOLs, institutional users, and existing Gate.io market makers (excluding Gate.io staff) 2.Referee: VIPs or market makers of other exchanges of no less than 20 million USDT in the past 30 days. **Event period:** From 00:00 on 20 February 2023 to 23:59 on 20 April 2023 (UTC+0) **Registration link: **Apply through this [form](https://www.gate.io/questionnaire/2980 "form") or email to mm@gate.io, Telegram @KA_EMEA，@KA_APAC. **Event Reward Rules** **Reward for referrers** **Reward 1: 300 USDT cash reward per pax** The referrer can get 300 USDT for every market maker they refer to Gate.io. **Assessment Criteria:** ● The referee has not been a Gate.io user in the past 18 months. ● The referee's trading volume in the past 30 days is not less than 20 million USDT. ● The referee achieves a Gate.io VIP/MM level and reaches either a cumulative spot trading volume of 8 million USDT or a futures trading volume of 20 million USDT within 30 days (the minimum requirement to become a market maker in Gate.io). **Reward 2: Get cash rewards up to $3,300** If the market maker referred by the referrer achieves the MM market maker level within 30 days and accumulates trading volumes of over 8 million USDT or 20 million USDT in the spot or futures market, respectively, the referrer will receive a cash reward of 20% of the incremental trading fees. The cash reward is calculated based on the incremental trading volume, with a maximum cash reward of 1,500 USDT for both spot and futures markets. Here's an example: 1.Tom invited the market maker, Alen to join Gate.io and earned the MM2 market maker level (VIP13), 2.If Alen's accumulated trading volume in the spot or futures market far exceeds 8 million USDT or 20 million USDT respectively within 30 days after obtaining the MM2 market maker level (VIP13), 3.Then, Tom will receive a total of 3300 USDT cash rewards, including 300 USDT for the referral and 1500 USDT each for the spot and futures market.
**Reward for referees (new market makers/VIP users)** **Reward 1: VIP+1/MM+1 for 60 days** 1.If you are referred to as a market maker, based on your Gate.io VIP level corresponding to your trading volume in the past 30 days, you will be matched with MM+1 and VIP+1 levels for 60 days. 2.There is a 30-day exemption period where no assessments will be conducted. Your MM/VIP level will only be upgraded and not downgraded based on your real-time trading volume during this period. **Reward 2: VIP+1/MM+1 superimposed** Based on your Gate.io VIP level corresponding to your trading volume, you will be applied for MM+1 and VIP+1 levels for 60 days. After matching MM+1 and VIP+1 levels for 30 days and if you can maintain the MM trading volume requirements, you can enjoy an additional 30 days of VIP+1/MM+1. **Notes:** 1.Referrers must pass KYC verification and are only eligible for rewards once per account. 2.Rewards for referrers will be disbursed within 14 working days after the end of the calculation period. 3.If there is cheating or any other violation, users will be disqualified and will not be eligible for rewards. 4.The accumulated trading volume in the spot and futures market within 30 days includes both the maker and taker trading volume for spot and futures trading pairs, but does not include the trading volume of [zero-fee trading pairs](https://www.gate.io/zero-trading-fees "zero-fee trading pairs"). 5.Each referrer must fill out the [registration form](https://www.gate.io/questionnaire/2980 "registration form") to participate in this event. 6.After the 60-day VIP+1/MM+1 free trial period, the referee's VIP/MM level on Gate.io will be matched based on their actual trading volume in the last 30 days. 7.Gate.io reserves the right to make the final interpretation of this activity.
