Rules & Rewards

Every 15-day in the NBA schedule is a phase, and the reward pool is $10,000 for each phase.

Participants are able to invest Gateballs to predict every NBA match winner. And the prize pool will be distributed in proportion to participant’s winning Gateballs.

The formula is as follows:

Rewards = (Your Winning Gateballs / All Winning Gateballs) * $10,000

For example, suppose Jack got 100 winning Gateballs in a phase and the total winning Gateballs were 10,000 in the phase.

Then, Jack can receive: (100 / 10,000) * $10,000 = $100

How to Win Gateball?

Complete the following easy tasks to receive Gateball for your predictions.

Task 1: Trade to Win Gateball

Receive 1 Gateball with every $100 spot volume.

Receive 1 Gateball with every $500 contract volume.

*The spot volume shall be from the USDT spot trading pairs (BTC/USDT excluded), and the contract volume from the USDT-margin perpetual contracts.

Task 2: Refer Friends to Win Gateball

Receive 10 Gateballs for each referee with KYC2 completed in every activity phase;

Receive another 10 Gateballs if the referee completes a spot volume of $200 in every activity phase.

Task 3: New User Exclusive

Receive 10 Gateballs by registering on Gate.io and complete KYC2 verification in every activity phase;

Receive another 10 Gateballs by completing a spot volume of $200 in every activity phase.

Task 4: Participate in Startup to Win Gateball

Receive 5 Gateballs by subscribing every Startup project.

Task 5: Fiat Trading

Receive 10 Gateballs for users who complete their first Fiat Trade;

Then, receive 1 Gateball for each fiat trade for both the new and existing users.

Task 6: Sharing Prize

All KYC2 users are able to share the activity on Twitter and win 5 Gateballs for the first-time sharing only.

Note:

1. Every participant who visits the Activity Page will receive 10 gift Gateballs to invest for winner prediction at any time before the opening of each match.

2. Once you’ve made your prediction, you can invest more Gateballs for the prediction as many times as you can, but you can no longer change the prediction.

3. The entry standard is 10 Gateballs, and there’s no ceilings. There’s no entry limit if you invest more Gateballs for a predicted match.

4. Only participants with 20 or more winning Gateballs are qualified to share the $10,000 prize pool in each phase.

5. Each participant can accumulate a maximum of 400 Gateballs. If reached, he/she must invest some or all for prediction before continuing to accumulate.

6. The Gateballs will be distributed about 10 minutes after completing the required trading volume.

7. The prize will be distributed in the equivalent of random tokens within 15 days after each phase ends.

8. KYC2 (KYC Plus) is required to be valid for the prizes.

9. The Sub-Accounts and a Master Account, and the multiple accounts with the same KYC2 information will be treated as the same account.

10. Any cheating behavior is prohibited. An occurrence of any dishonesty will result in the disqualification of the prizes.

11. Where any discrepancy arises between the translated versions and the original English version, the English version shall prevail.
