To further enhance the liquidity of Gate.io Spot trading and provide a better trading experience for all outstanding trading teams, we launched the GMMC-Spot Market Maker program. Trading teams can enjoy negative fees and a minimum -0.012% spot maker fee on USDT trading pairs, a monthly prize pool of $2,000,000, and a maximum of $10,000,000 interest-free loan limit benefits.
Campaign period: No expiry date
Entry requirements: Users who have traded more than USD8,000,000 on Gate.io in the past 30 days.

MM Trial Period Application:
1. Users who have not met the Market Maker (MM) fee tier requirement but the last 30-day trading volumes on Gate.io is more than USD20,000,000 can apply for a 30-day trial period, where the users will enjoy an MM1 spot maker fee of -0.005% on USDT trading pairs during this period.
2. If you are a user on another exchange, you can apply for a 30-day MM+1 tier and VIP+1 tier trial period based on your last 30-day trading volume.
1. MM Tier Reward: Negative Maker Fee in Spot USDT Trading Pairs
(1) Monthly spot maker volumes market share assessment:
Users whose spot maker volumes market share is higher than the minimum maker volume target will be uniformly adjusted to a negative maker fee at the beginning of the following month.
(2) Monthly spot quoting ranking competition:
Users whose ranking is in the top 75% of the month will be uniformly adjusted to a negative maker fee rebate not lower than the MM1 fee tier at the beginning of the following month.
Notes:
- Gate.io has launched the 0 fees campaign for Spot, Futures, and ETF Trading:
Except for USDT trading pairs (excluding BTC/USDT), Gate.io's spot markets are unified with zero trading fees on the platform (both maker and taker can enjoy zero fees).
Therefore, the negative maker fee in the spot market is applicable to the spot USDT trading pairs only(excluding BTC/USDT).
- The term sheet and the list of quoting trading pairs of the Market Maker Program will be sent to you by the end of each quarter.
- Users who have participated in the monthly spot maker volumes market share assessment on Gate.io can also participate in the monthly spot quoting ranking competition. By the end of each month, the system will take the best result from the assessments and reward the best MM fee tier.
2. Best Spot Market-Maker Of The Quarter
Exclusive honorary certificates and personalized trophies will be issued to the top 10 market makers in quarterly quoting scores.
Gate.io will announce the results of the quarterly spot "The Best Spot Market Makers" selection on the network (market makers can opt-in for public disclosure).
3. $2,000,000 Monthly Prize Pool and VIP+1 Benefits
(1) The competition includes a Progress Award for each participating user whose spot USDT trading pairs' volume of the current month net increases by 30% compared to the 30 days before the competition (the previous month) and reaches the corresponding target trading volume below.
For example: Tom's spot USDT trading pairs' volume in September was USD30,000,000. If Tom's spot USDT trading pairs' volume reached USD50,000,000 during the competition in October (a net increase of more than 30%), he would receive a USD1,000 reward. If he reached USD800,000,000, he would receive a USD10,000 reward.
(2) Users who receive progress awards in the month can receive VIP+1 30-day benefits according to their latest corresponding VIP level in the following month.
Notes:
- The maximum VIP+1 tier for this Progress Award is VIP16.
- Net increase in Spot USDT trading volume for the month refers to the increase in spot USDT trading pairs' volume of users for the month exceeding the increase in the total spot USDT trading pair's volume of Gate.io for the same period.
- The trading volume generated by all zero-fee trading pairs will not be included in the 30-day trading volume assessment for this Progress Award.
4. Monthly 0% Interest-Free Line of Credit
(1) Users who rank in the top 10% of monthly spot quoting ranking and have a net increase of 30% or more in spot trading USDT trading pairs' volume for the month compared to the preceding month, will receive up to a $10,000,000 interest-free line of credit.
(2) Users who rank in the top 50% of monthly market-making will receive up to a $10,000,000 loan limit.

- Each user requires to register once to participate in this quarter's monthly spot market maker program. Users are required to register again for the next quarter's spot market maker program. Registration in the current month's competition can participate in the current month's ranking.
