This event was a heartwarming endeavor aimed at supporting the children of this unique community, known for its stilt-based architecture and water-based lifestyle.  The day began with the enthusiastic arrival of the Gate Charity team at the school, where they were greeted with the smiling faces of 100 students. The team quickly set up the day's activities, which kicked off with a series of fun and engaging games, bringing joy and laughter to the children.  As midday approached, the focus shifted to the main event – the food distribution. The children, lined up in an orderly manner, received nutritious meals, a gesture that meant more than just food; it was a symbol of hope and care from the global community. The event concluded with a brief session of thanks and memorable photo opportunities, capturing the essence of the day.  The CSC Dogodo Primary School, nestled in Ganvié, is a beacon of learning amidst challenging conditions. The town, while scenically located on Lake Nokoué, faces various hardships, including limited agricultural activities, the risk of floods, and a scarcity of basic amenities like drinking water and electricity. This makes initiatives like ours crucial in providing much-needed support to the children.  Through this event, we not only nourished the bodies but also the spirits of these young students, reinforcing our commitment to aiding communities in need.
