Gate Charity, the global non-profit philanthropic organization of Gate Group, in collaboration with Sobat Eksplorasi Anak Dalam (SEAD) Jambi, is thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of the "Aku Pahlawan Rimba" event, held on December 2nd and 3rd. This event, commemorating Heroes' Day and National Teacher's Day, aimed to recognize and celebrate the heroic contributions of individuals from various professions, including doctors, educators, and police officers.

The event took place in Jelutih Village, Batin 24 sub-district, Batanghari district, Jambi Province, providing a unique opportunity for cultural exchange and education.

The "Aku Pahlawan Rimba" event served as a platform to honor heroes, not only those who defend their territory but also those who fight for the well-being of their communities, care for the sick, educate illiterate children, and courageously serve as frontliners to protect and preserve the forests.

In a bid to inspire the next generation, the event welcomed children from the Suku Anak Dalam Jambi community in Jelutih Village. These children engaged in activities that allowed them to explore different professions, understand the roles and responsibilities associated with each, and learn the importance of education in achieving their dreams. Through drawing, role-playing, and interactive sessions, the young participants gained insight into the world of heroes from various fields.

Sobat Eksplorasi Anak Dalam (SEAD) Jambi, a non-profit organization, spearheaded this initiative as part of its ongoing commitment to addressing educational inequality and social issues among the Anak Dalam tribe (SAD). The SAD community, one of Indonesia's oldest ethnic minorities, traditionally relies on the forest for their livelihoods and maintains rich customs. However, modernization has posed challenges, including threats to their forest rights. SEAD Jambi's mission is to eradicate illiteracy among the Anak Dalam tribe, providing them with essential literacy education to protect themselves from exploitation.

The "Aku Pahlawan Rimba" event not only celebrated the heroic spirit within each individual but also reinforced the importance of education in safeguarding their future.
