Garotos de Ouro, an organization supporting underprivileged children in Brazil, to host another football match for children in Sao Paulo, the country’s largest city. This event aimed to bring children within the local community closer together through fun and engaging activities.  The day began with a trip to Villa Albertina, a local community football field in the north end of Sao Paulo, where the children enjoyed breakfast and fueled up for a day of football matches and other activities.  Over 50 children attended the event, where two teams faced one another in a friendly football match. As a national sport and pastime of Brazilians, football is an ideal way to bring children together from various neighbourhoods and communities. Many of the children come from communities in areas known as favelas, which are often affected by poverty and disadvantageous conditions.   Not only did this event provide a day of enjoyment, but it allowed the children to socialize and learn about cooperation, teamwork, and friendship. With the support of other organizations, businesses, and community members, the event successfully built stronger bonds within the local community and created a safe environment for positive activities.  Gate Charity provided sports equipment and other support for this event, such as jerseys, transportation, and food. The funds were sourced from a successful fundraiser in partnership with A. A. Garotos de Ouro.  This event is a part of Gate Charity’s commitment to supporting underprivileged children and communities in Brazil. Other events and initiatives include a football match held this October along with the 'For Children NFT (Brazil)' and 'Brazil in The Eyes of Children' fundraisers held in September and August.
