[//]:content-type-MARKDOWN-DONOT-DELETE Gate Charity, the global non-profit philanthropic organization of Gate Group, is pleased to announce the successful completion of its partnership with Sobat Eksplorasi Anak Dalam (SEAD) Jambi in hosting a "Healthcare Program" in Skaladi village, Indonesia.  The target audience was the SAD community in Skaladi village, one of Indonesia's oldest ethnic minorities. They relied on forest resources and maintained distinct customs, facing challenges due to modernization.  The program's primary goal was to improve the health and well-being of the Anak Dalam Tribe in Skaladi village, supported by SEAD Jambi. Key components of the program included health education, health checks for children, and general health assessments for the community.  Health education empowered the Anak Dalam Tribe with knowledge about clean and healthy living practices. SAD children underwent health checks, including weight and height measurements, and received essential vitamins. The broader Anak Tribe community benefited from general health assessments, including blood pressure, body weight, blood sugar, cholesterol, uric acid checks, and medication administration.    A dedicated healthcare team, comprising one doctor, one nurse, one medical student, and around eight volunteers, ensured the program's success.  SEAD Jambi, a non-profit organization, has been actively addressing educational inequality and social issues for the past six years. Its mission was to eradicate illiteracy among the Anak Dalam Tribe and provide access to formal and informal education. SEAD Jambi also served as a platform for local youth volunteers to contribute to their communities and raise awareness about pressing issues.
