[//]:content-type-MARKDOWN-DONOT-DELETE Gate Charity, the global non-profit philanthropic organization of Gate Group, successfully held its first charitable initiative in Taiwan on February 25, 2023, at the Red Cross Nursery in Kaohsiung City. Gate Charity invited 15 children to create original paintings that were later minted and sold as NFTs to fundraise for the Nursery Center. Gate Charity has again teamed up with Gate NFT, Gate.io’s NFT launchpad and marketplace, to transform the children’s artwork into a charitable NFT collection named “2023 Gate Charity Children’s Exclusive NFT - Taiwan”. All funds generated from sales will support child welfare and education at the Red Cross Nursery. With this initiative, Gate Charity aims to direct the attention of all sectors of society toward the welfare and education of disadvantaged children in Taiwan. In addition, Gate Charity anticipates more companies to join the initiative and contribute to improving the lives of children in need.
